Next step
Send us a brief summary to caro @ revellup.org of what your post will be about including a link to your LinkedIn profile and/or website/webpage so we know who you are and we’ll get back to you within 2-3 days.
It will be an advantage if you also can send us a link or two of other examples of your previously published content.
If we say yes…
- Send your content in a Google Doc and give access to caro @ revellup.org
- Content should be written for an audience which is still outside the industry, so please avoid jargon and too many industry buzzwords. For example, if you’re going to write about the merits of Python for digital marketers, you should explain what Python is with simple examples of how it might be used in plain English a child or your grandparents would understand.
- The article must be over 750 words.
- Always use simple sentences – 20 words per sentence is a good thumb-rule.
- All content should be original.
- Paragraphs should be no more than 3 to 5 sentences long.
- Use H2, H3, and H4 formatting for subheadings wherever appropriate.
- No more than 300 words in between each subheading.
- Add bulleted lists wherever possible to break up dense chunks.
- Please include at least one image with image source.
- We accept one outbound do-follow link to a reputable third party website.
- We accept up to a maximum of four outbound no-follow links to a reputable third party website.
- If you’re using AI/Chat GPT to write some of your article, please let us know. If nothing else we are kind of curious about the quality of submissions using AI/Chat compared to submissions without it.
